I did notice that the last scavenger hunt had multiple levels and you needed to pay gold to open up the third level. So far the pride of getting through each level without buying powerups is keeping me from paying. I do recognize that they get advertising revenue from all the ads I watch, but wonder if I shouldn't start donating $. I'm feeling a bit guilty using it for free while their staff might be rewarded for their good work and elegant design. On the other hand, I also realized that I really liked the game. The longer I did this the more compelling it seemed that I shouldn't give in to make it easier by buying powers. This became sort of a challenge / source of pride to get past the hard and ultra hard levels without using powers or at most using one free power. Essentially, I tried to advance on my own without "cheating" by buying special powers. I do watch videos to get bonus boxes, and collect power ups from the daily prize and other rewards (e.g. I'm on level 2285 and have never bought anything.

I play TwoDots on several devices, switching to another when I can't do anything more. I enjoy TwoDots, it's actually the only game I play.
